On the north east coast of Scotland lies a small natural rock formation named Bow Fiddle Rock due to its unique shape - like a violin bow. The rock is a popular home to nesting seabirds and is an easily recognisable landmark for those walking the rugged coastline. I've tried to capture the scene during a beautiful Scottish sunrise, with most of the rock being in silhouette and just a few facets reflecting the early morning light. I love the colours in this print, they really remind me of the original Art Deco palettes used in the early travel posters.
