Twelve hopeful skies
Borrowed Hope
Every day the sky puts on a performance — a sunrise, a sunset, a few unrepeatable minutes of colour and cloud, whether we're there to see it or not.
Borrowed Hope is a collection of twelve original acrylic skyscapes built around that quiet, daily persistence: moments life keeps offering us, even in seasons when we feel we have very little left to offer back.
Each piece is one of a kind, and ready to hang — captured energy, emotional light, bold expressive brush marks, and hope as the undercurrent, always.
This is a collection for everyone who needs a little reminder that some things keep showing up for us, even on the days it's hard to find a way through.
Enjoy, love Georgina x

Creating A Collection
I've loved watching all twelve pieces come together on this wall, side by side over the last few months. It's been so satisfying seeing this collection grow. Now I'm excited for each one to find its new home.

Be Your Own Gallery
I created my own gallery! The wall where my piano lives has now become a place for me to display my painting collections. I can play music, think about my paintings and dolly daydream my life away. Pure joy.

Painting 'Fearless'
This one is called Fearless and I wrote a blog post about the very bright and initially scary 'pyrrole orange' paint I used to get that fiery, textured sky.
Thank You
During this project I asked my newsletter subscribers, and social media followers for photos of sunsets and skyscapes that stopped them in their tracks. I hoped for a few but I got over 170!
Every single one meant something to the person who sent it — a walk home, a moment on holiday, an ordinary evening that suddenly wasn't.
Many of those skies went on to become references for paintings in this collection, and EVERY photo shared with me became part of the story of Borrowed Hope. The connection I felt when people replied to my call out was such a creative boost and made me so happy.
Thank you to everyone who looked up, and thought of me.
