(With cool snacks)
My workshops are your escape - a dedicated space to quiet the world and find your flow. While the subject matter may change, the heart of every session stays the same:
- Expertise & Empathy: I share the tips and shortcuts from my 30 years in art and design to help you move past the 'messy middle' and find your unique creative voice.
- Discovery & Expression: We go beyond copying. I teach the fundamentals so you can explore the gold of how you see the world and what sparks your curiosity.
- Nurtured & Treated: Creativity thrives when you feel cared for. Expect a warm welcome, endless tea/coffee, and homemade cake to fuel your afternoon of discovery.

The Secret to Being a 'Good' Artist?
People sometimes ask me how I know if someone will succeed in art. It's not about 'natural talent' and it actually has very little to do with whether they can draw.
It’s about tolerance for discomfort.
We all have a vision in our heads, and it rarely matches what ends up on the canvas at first. The 'gold' happens when you can sit with that gap, stay curious, and keep going anyway. My job is to be your cheerleader through the 'messy middle' until you find your flow.
