Grafham Water is not far from me and we often enjoy a bike ride around the reservoir with the kids. The Valve Tower is an eye catching piece of space age architecture which looks like it has just risen out of the water in a James Bond film. I took some photos when I was there at the weekend but that was during the day so I've used my imagination to give it a 1960's verdigris glow.
