On The Edge

This abstract landscape painting took on many forms over the months with each layer adding more texture and even more intrigue. I'm learning to take my time, to revisit paintings and work on them until they are ready.

I've done my best to take pictures but I can promise you that this piece looks much more interesting in real life. It currently hangs on my wall, partly to keep it from getting scuffed in my rack and partly because I love it. It speaks to me. 

It's called On The Edge because that's how I feel looking at it.
