Heavy dark grey clouds loom over a bright horizon glowing with yellow, white, and orange. Across the sky, dabs of rich ruby red, deep pink, amber, and light blue catch the light against the stormy background, set above dark silhouetted shapes along the land.
Painted with layered acrylics on heavy paper and finished with a protective gloss varnish.

Welcome to Snapshots, my new series of paintings that capture the subtle yet profound moments that illuminate our lives. From the soft glow of a sunset to the unexpected light after a storm, these pieces explore how we recall fleeting memories or envision hopeful futures—often with a sense of nostalgia, longing or curiosity.
Vibrant, bold, and dreamlike, these tiny pieces of art have the nostalgic charm of an 80s Polaroid. Each original, hand-painted piece is created in one sitting, with distinct impressionistic brushstrokes and emotive colours. A coat of gloss varnish adds depth and a hazy, luminous glow.
Each Snapshot is numbered and titled but their true alchemy lies in how they resonate with your unique perspective. These little paintings are designed to become a mirror for your memories, a canvas for your dreams.
Spend time with them, let your gaze wander, and allow your intuition to settle on the Snapshot that speaks to you.
