The picturesque fishing town of Whitby sits on on the east coast of England in North Yorkshire. Famed for its gothic abbey, the 199 steps (from which this view is taken), whale bone arches and of course its legendary fish and chips. I've walked the 199 steps and sampled the fish and chips, both were worth the journey. Whitby also has a thriving art community and is the inspiration to many imaginative works. Here's my attempt at capturing this beautiful seaside port, with the full moon casting shadows on land and throwing its light upon the sea. I hope you enjoy it.
